Si el fallo es de getaddrinfo, entonces tiene que ver con algo de dns. Qué recibes si haces una consulta a twblue.es?

Es una movida con el dominio. Todos vais a tener el mismo problema cuando abráis el programa.

El que lo tenga abierto, está de suerte. Configuración global, desmarcamos la casilla de buscar actualizaciones al iniciar, y a seguir como si nada. El que no lo tenga abierto tendrá que editar a mano el fichero de configuración global. Yo recuerdo en su día haber implementado soluciones para contingencias de este tipo, pero entre commit y commit, se desvanecieron.

Y para el que lo tenga cerrado y quiera abrirlo...
Favor de seguir estos pasos, pasito a pasito y sin saltarse ninguno.

1. Localizamos la carpeta del twblue.
2. La abrimos de nuestra forma favorita, sea con aplicaciones y escogiendo abrir o estrujando enter sobre la carpetita.
3. Buscamos la carpeta config.
4. La abrimos de nuestra forma favorita, sea con aplicaciones y escogiendo abrir o estrujando enter sobre la carpeta.
5. Pulsamos aplicaciones sobre el archivo twblue.conf y lo abrimos con nuestro editor de textos favorito.
6. buscamos la línea
check_for_updates = True

7. La cambiamos por
check_for_updates = False

8. guardamos el documento.
9. Abrimos TWBlue.
