1. Nikola,
Hello,
I've received several reports about the history no longer working with TalkBack on the Web client with Chrome on Android. After taking out my useless Galaxy S7, indeed, it appears something broke.
When we connect to the Web client, everything is fine and the history can be navigated normally. if we do some actions like enable/disable spectator mode to cause some messages to appear, still everything is fine.
However, if we create a new table of any game, as soon as that's done, the history no longer works as expected. Instead of being able to navigate message by message, now, suddenly, the history becomes one single element, so you'll hear everything from the top to the bottom as soon as you focus it. Note that this isn't identified as a text box by TalkBack, so the role of the history display didn't change, rather TalkBack calls this a page (not sure where that comes from, typically TalkBack says page for multi-page controls which can be scrolled to display the next page).
This was quite odd and I wasn't sure what could trigger this, so my first theory was that as soon as any multi-line message is sent, that's what breaks it. Fortunately, this time I was right on my first try.
To test that theory, I connected to the Web client and sent myself an inbox message, something along the lines of:
test
test2
test 3
And then, as soon as I opened the inbox and caused that message to appear in the history, it broke again. So, for now, I think this happens whenever multiple lines are sent to the history at once.
On the French Playroom, the history will be broken as soon as you connect, because unlike the English main room, in addition to the welcome message you receive another line of text right away (the tip about the popular topics section).
As usual, since Android isn't my primary system, I have no idea how long this was broken, but I've started receiving reports about this only around last week, and I don't remember it being broken while we were beta testing, so I don't think it was always buggy.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
