Better not use these. Such people can do this to get access to your data.

This server will be for four-five people not more people.

I understand, but still. You wouldn't love your iP and mac in the hands of hackers. This goes to your messages privately or texts, and users and passwords. Such people can spy on anything and everything because the server is theirs. I know a bot on Telegram which does it but the reputation of its owner isn't that great because he does such services for similar reasons. While I don't think he'll do it, many people said he did, so.

No it's only for Italian people not for foreigners.

This doesn't make an invalid way for a hacker.

Yes but I need a free vps like jc-hosting.me
Do you know other Platform?

I think that people entering just for advice without providing a clear answer to what the creator of this topic wants is just a waste of time. Everyone should respect each other's wishes.

I need only a free vps an alternative to jc-hosting.me I need only a website.

@ibraheemmohsen Ok, trying to save a random stranger online by talking them out of doing something that can potentially result in a data breach is now called disrespect instead of a genuine concern for that person... Good to know.
~msgScore~: +1
But no one wants to help me to find a free vps to host a TeamTalk server. The gabdillon website doesn't exist, the creator of the jc-hosting.me doesn't answer.

@Mighty_Ravendark: He probably knows who I'm mentioning, therefor he's angry as he dislikes it. I will not post the service I mentioned due to other users' concerns, and because it will get deleted from the forum.

Don't worry Mohammed I don't give the password and the information about my server
~msgScore~: +0
It isn't that. my fear is about your personal data and conversationswhich you will share inside.

I tried to get a Teamtalk server with jc-hosting in the past but yeah, they never responded at all whatsoever. It seems that free solutions don't really exist...especially a dedicated Teamtalk host.I just tried googling for a free VPS, but it seems that they don't really exist. All of the reputable ones only offer free trials. but Hostinger seems pretty cheap and there are sites in multiple languages (even a localized Thai site exist).

No they don't understand Italian Language so you can give it in private message. I wrote you in private Mohammed

Hello! My suggestion is just rent a vps and create a tt server. Or if your friend have vps you can ask them to help you if they want
~msgScore~: +0
Welp, as jc-hosting as indeed come up, I'd like to state that I'm the founder of such said service. I haven't been focusing on this for a while do to other life constraints. However, I'd like to clear up a few things. We offer free TT servers however, we do not and will not offer free virtual private servers. That's not how that works. Plus, you may or may not even find them as none, exists I don't think. With that being said, should you want a TT server, we'll get you setup however I quite indeed understand if you wouldn't want one after this. PM me should you have questions. Only other option alternative is you can always host a TT server, free, of charge using your own internet and if you know how to forward ports and such from your router, you can do this, completely free. I wouldn't recommend it though, TT is so unsecure nowadays it's fucking not even funny. Fact, I've contemplated discontinuing hosting TT servers but as it's still a popular thing I won't. I sure wish the devs would get the ball rolling and actually, get off his lazy fucking ass and make TT more secure. Sure, you have ssl support but that's only for pro servers and still, it's not enough. passwords are not encrypted and is stored in plain text and while it was a good idea at the time, it's stupid now. There are far better ways of actually securing shit like this and having TT usernames and passwords stored like this is not an excuse. I don't even get on TT myself so there's that. If you really want a great example of how security is done well, teamspeek is the best thing I've ever seen when it comes to security. I've ran a couple of TS servers for a while.

yeah tt isn't secure

Lol if you want a server for just 5 people to hang out and you want a free way to host it just use discord. I know, the classic tt versus discord thing but it fits what I think you're looking for right now. Also Ibrahim, since when was trying to warn someone about such services a bad thing to do? Your logic just doesn't make sence.
~msgScore~: +0
I don't use discord, though I have an account there. but yeah it is a better option.

Since Discord is mentioned, I've been hosting a server with Discord for some time now and I quite like it.The app (especially desktop) is fully accessible with NVDA. Plus, you can add bots that does various things, for example in my case I'm using a bot that sends a welcome message to new members, and another that auto-post new updates from both my personal blog and the NV Access blog. The one major downside is that there appears to be no official repo for bots though, so looking for bots that does what you want can be a challenge. Also be aware that a lot of the good bots are fremium, meaning that there are limitations on the free version and if you want to unlock everything you have to pay for a subscription or make a donation to the devs.

As we're talking about discord, and to the previous poster, do you know if there's a bot that integrates with mastodon? For example, if I wanna post from said discord channel on my server and have it go to my mastodon and vice versa? Would rather know if there is one made rather than reinvent the wheel so to speek. I mean, I can probs make one but I'm rather lazy Lol.
~msgScore~: +0
Not so sure about that. I'm sure someone out there might have made one, but again since there is no official bots repo it can be challenging finding the right bot that you're looking for.

as far as hosting your own TeamTalk server goes, you will need pretty decent Internet bandwidth. It doesn’t need to be too much, but you still want to be careful, especially if you’re going to have a larger group of people on your server. I agree that Discord is a lot easier and nicer when it comes to hosting smaller servers.
~msgScore~: +0
In Discord there's the apps directory which you can utilize to find bots.

Where do I find the app directory in Discord?
