Season’s Greetings to All! What better way to kick off the New Year than with an exciting UNO tournament? As we step into 2025, it’s time to bring the players together for some friendly competition and fun. Thanks to a generous donor, the stakes are higher than ever, with the champion taking home an Amazon gift worth $100, and additional prizes of $50, $30, and $20 for the second, third, and fourth places. The tournament will take place on Saturday, 4th January, and Sunday, 5th January 2025, beginning at 5:00 PM GMT on both days. Rules: The tournament rules are as follows: Draw responses are enabled, and players cannot skip turns after drawing a card. Bluffs and straights are enabled, and players may draw even if they have a playable card, with a maximum of three cards allowed per turn. Interceptions and super interceptions are also allowed. Time limits are set at 5 seconds until the quarterfinals, 4 seconds in the semi-finals, and 3 seconds in the finals. The score limit begins at 400 in the first round and increases by 50 in each subsequent round.
Note:
Our goal is to have 32 players participate in the tournament. It will begin with a group stage, where players will compete in groups of four in a 1v1 format.
The winner and runner-up from each group will advance to the next stage, which will follow a 1v1 knockout format.
Registration does not guarantee participation; players will be selected based on their commitment in previous tournaments.
