Today when connecting to the web client I got a warning about an insecure connection, and that "the certificate isn't trusted". Does anyone have that issue or is it purely on my end?

Most likely the SSL certificate failed to renew. It'll eventually be handled by the team.

Where is the message exactly ? Is it coming from the browser ?

The first strange thing came from an extension called "https everywhere" which warned me that I was connecting to an insecure page. I then tried to go to the https version anyway, where I got the usual message from the browser.

The problem seems to be fixed today however.
